Monsoon Arrives In India: Vaikundarajan

Monsoon In India
The monsoon has arrived in India which will beat the heat and brings refreshment for everyone. With the rise in temperature, everyone was waiting for the monsoons to hit as soon as possible says Vaikundarajan.

The southwest monsoon will be hitting Kerala by Friday, according to the reports of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), they have mentioned that the line with its forecasts for the start of the four month rainy seasons can prove to be vital to the Indian economy. India's half of the farmland still needs irrigation. Experts have even brought up to the notice that the spread of rainfall near the southern coast does not meet the requirements for a formal declaration of the monsoon status. In this typical year, the monsoon was expected to begin on or around June 1 but the government analyst had estimated a five-day holdup and below-average rainfall in this year.

Farmers have taken notice of the farm ministry's advisory to sow summer crops early this year as the second half of the four-month rainy season could be witness drier weather due to the El Nino weather pattern adds Vaikundarajan.
