Vaikundarajan Impressed By Nick Kyrgios

The big Australian teenager (19), with a golden arm, fearlessly defeated the world no.1 Rafael Nadal at the Wimbledon yesterday. Rafael Nadal would have never imagined that something like this could ever happen to him. It took Kyrgios four extra-ordinary sets to reach the quarter-finals on his Wimbledon debut. World no. 8, Milos Raonic has something to fear about in the quarter finals. His confident stroking was complemented by his free spirit and irresistible power. Rafael Nadal just could not subdue the youthful charge of Kyrgios. Vaikundarajan saw a young boy turn into a man.

Whatever happens to Nick Kyrgios in the later stages of the tournament, he has already shocked many and won many hearts. We have a new star in the tennis world. He was extremely cool, the aces just kept coming, the rallies were breathtaking, and it was clear that this young man was in a hurry. Vaikundarajan feels that he will have to be at his very best in the in the quarters too. He is now Vaikundarajan’s favorite and I wish him all the success in this and all his futures tournaments.
