“The recent announcement of Sachin Tendulkar playing himself in the upcoming project of his biopic is an exciting piece of information”, says Vaikundarajan.

The biopic based on the soon-to-be actor Sachin Tendulkar’s cricket career is rumoured to be released in 2015 itself.  The movie will be directed by a London-based director-filmmaker James Erskine. He promises that never-seen-before facets of the player’s life will be splashed on the silver screen, doing justice to Sachin’s journey as a multi-faceted and successful cricketer.

The film will be made under the banner ‘200 Not Out’ which currently handles Sachin Tendulkar’s PR and communication in co-ordination with World Sports Group. They have been keenly tracking his journey in the past year and have begun work on assimilating all archival and relevant footage.

The Master Blaster will be seen not just acting in the movie but also making contributions to the movie as and when he deems fit.

“In his 24 years long career, Sachin has played 200 matches and scored 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78. He also holds most batting records," says
Vaikundarajan.
