Vaikundarajan On Kamal Haasan’s Upcoming Movie
South’s renowned and versatile actor Kamal Haasan is back with another upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film 'Thoongaavanam'. The actor announced the title on Saturday and the movie will go on floor in Hyderabad on May 24th, says Vaikundarajan.

The film will be produced by Rajkamal Films and directed by Kamal Hasan’s former assistant M Rajesh. Kamal Haasan's assistant Rajesh is debuting as a director for this film. The shoot begins in Hyderabad on 24th and will continue to shoot for next 40 days, and 35 days in Chennai.

"We have a happy news to share with you. Rajkamal Films' next will be double version in Tamil and Telugu. We are going to inaugurate the shooting of this dual version in Hyderabad on May 24," Haasan said in a video message. He added "I am confined to choose one title only for this film and I hope that you will like it. Tamil title is Thoongavanam. It is a fast paced thriller".

A crew member from the film said, "The director is my erstwhile assistant M Rajesh, who is debuting as a director with this film. Sanu Varghese of Vishwaroopam fame is going to be wielding the camera, the editor will be Vijay Shankar and Gibran also will join hands to enhance the technical side of the film."

The cast of the film has been revealed yet, says Vaikundarajan. But sources say that popular actors Trisha Krishnan and Prakash Raj have been roped in to play important roles. Also, Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has been approached to play Kamal's wife in the movie, says Vaikundarajan.
