Vaikundarajan Sends His Best Wishes To Debutante Actress Mehreen

Actor Nani will be working with debutante Mehreen in the upcoming Telegu rom-com “Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha”, informs Vaikundarajan. Actress Mehreen has applauded her onscreen partner Nani for his support on the film sets.

She further stated that the actor had helped her reach a comfort level on set and push her acting skills a notch higher. “It seems they have shared a great chemistry off screen and we should not be surprised to see the same onscreen,” says Vaikundarajan.

Mehreen was born in Punjab, studied in Delhi and has spent some years in New York and Toronto as well. The film will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. On her director, Mehreen said that Hanu has a great vision and never digresses.

Mehreen will be playing the character of Mahalakshmi from the village of Anantpur. While the audiences await the release of “Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha”, the actress is said to have signed two more projects. “She will soon be seen in another Telugu and Tamil films,” says Vaikundarajan as he sends his best wishes to the entire crew.

Vaikundarajan Sends Wishes On Lohri, Makar Sankranti And Pongal

President of India, Pranab Mukherjee sent his wishes to everyone on the occasion of Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal.

"On the auspicious occasion of Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal, I extend warm greetings to my fellow citizens and wish them success, happiness and prosperity," the President said.

President Pranab Mukherjee further added to his wishes, “Let us celebrate these harvest festivals with gaiety and fervour, promoting love and understanding amongst all. May these events bind the communities and regions of India in fraternal love and inspire us to work for the unity and progress of our country.

Makara Sankaranti is just around the corner with Lohri and Pongal falling in the same week. “Three festivals in the same week will mean celebrations all across India,” says Vaikundarajan. The significance of the festival is showcased through colourful rangolis in courtyard. In most part of Gujarat, the festival is celebrated by families getting together to fly kites, he adds.

Lohri will be celebrated on Wednesday while Makar Sankranti and Pongal fall on Thursday.

Pongal is celebrated on the first day of first day of Thai when the Sun enters the Makara Rasi. Much like Makara Sankaranti, Pongal is also a harvest festival, informs Vaikundarajan. Schools and colleges celebrate the festival by flying kites. Newly married couples take blessings from their elders.
